This one is tough- we are comparing it to other hotels on our trip (Sorrento, Capri, Ravello) and price point. The staff was polite, but not warm. The room was the smallest of all that we stayed in. The bed was comfortable. The views were spectacular, and the bottle of Ferrari Champagne was a nice touch. We had subpar food at the restaurant (rated separately). Overall it was "good".
Our stay at Hotel Eden Roc was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome, and they went above and beyond to make our time in Positano — and especially my birthday — feel so special. Pascal was absolutely exceptional. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made such an impression on us. The entire staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, even assisting us with rescheduling trains, ferries, and drivers as our travel plans changed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It’s one thing to stay at a beautiful hotel in Positano, but it’s the people who make a stay memorable, and the team at Eden Roc did exactly that. Their hospitality was thoughtful, personal, and far beyond what we expected. We left feeling genuinely taken care of and so grateful for everything they did for us. An amazing stay, an unforgettable birthday, and a hotel we would happily return to.
The hotel is wonderful. Staff is very nice with excellent customer service. Especially shout out to Pascal who was absolutely amazing and always there when we needed something (anything). Very helpful and nice. He found things that weren’t available. It’s always wonderful to have someone like him around.
Eden Roc was an incredible hotel experience. The staff were exceptionally attentive and kind, special thanks to Luigi, Luca, and the rest of the team for making everything feel seamless. The location is perfect, close to attractions, shopping, and the beach with stunning views of the skyline. Every part of the experience stood out, from the breakfast and main restaurant to the pizza spot and the olive oil and wine tastings. The spa was also a highlight and the perfect way to unwind. Overall, a truly memorable stay. I would absolutely return!
We stayed at Eden Roc in Positano in March, right at the start of their season, and it ended up being pretty perfect. The view from our room (photo attached) was one of those moments that actually stops you. Opening the balcony doors and seeing the coastline like that… it’s hard to describe, but it really set the tone for our time there. Because we were early in the season, a lot nearby wasn’t fully open yet, and so the hotel really carried the experience for us. The staff was warm and welcoming, the room was beautiful, and we ended up eating at the hotel more than once — which says a lot. Breakfast on the rooftop became one of our favorite parts of each day. Coffee, fresh fruit, pastries, all with that view… it just slowed everything down in the best way. We also tried both restaurants — the more casual option downstairs and the upstairs dining — and both were genuinely good. The desserts in particular were memorable (we went back for them… more than once). I actually wrote a full blog post about our experience traveling through Rome, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast if anyone wants more context around the trip — but Eden Roc was definitely one of the highlights.
