Quite disappointed and sad about the customer service of such a respected hotel. Made a mistake with the booking dates, and called immediately to try and move them, or failing that refund the trip for a future date instead, only to be rejected whilst trying to be flexible in any way. Even booking.com offered to waive their fee in good faith and do right by their customer, but was still declined by the hotel. I travel a lot with work and always look to stay in the same hotels - I’ve have noticed every other hotel try to do right by their customers and be amenable (especially when trying to rectify a mistake in the same day), so was very surprised when this wasn’t the case with the Hyatt Regency. Will look to book with other hotels in the future instead.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend to others. I’ve never seen such a level of service in a hotel this large. Our rooms were immaculate. Cleaned and resupplied daily. Staff frequently checked with us to make sure we were comfortable. Requests were handled promptly. The market downstairs was convenient. Easy to get to the metro but we also walked to many locations. Neighborhood was pleasant, lots of cafes and bakeries nearby. Very pleased with our stay.

Great views of the tower from both the room and the club lounge. The lounge itself had fairly limited food options, but the breakfast on the first floor was much better. I especially enjoyed the chia seed fruit pudding. As a Globalist, I was upgraded to the regency suite for only one night since there was a large conference group staying at the hotel, although it was essentially a connecting-room layout rather than a traditional suite. It would actually be a nice option for larger families traveling together. The standard king room on a high floor is quite small, so I wouldn’t recommend spending much time in the room. That said, the hotel’s location is excellent for sightseeing, and if your plan is to be out exploring the city most of the day, it’s a great base.

We had a pretty good stay at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile. It’s not the absolute best Hyatt Regency I’ve stayed at, but it’s above average. We had the Regency suite which was just connected rooms. The rooms are larger than the average Paris hotel room but still small by American standards. The room quality was fine, nothing too special but clean. The real star of the room was the Eiffel Tower view. We had club access because we stayed in a suite. The club here is ok. Again the real standout is the Eiffel Tower view. I was expecting better food and drink options given this is France. They pale in comparison to say Hyatt Regency Tokyo. Even the wines were not good. Funny enough HR Tokyo serves better French Champagne than this club. Some people complain about the location but it was fine for us as tourists. The Arc de Triomphe is walkable as well as Champs Elysees. We actually walked all the way down to Tuileries, but I wouldn’t recommend that when it’s 100 degrees out. There are good RER and Metro connections nearby. We took a taxi from CDG and got here in ~35 minutes. The service was good overall. They came by the room after we checked in and left a bottle of wine and juice for the kids which was a nice touch. The wine was better quality than what they serve in the club and I appreciated that. I would stay here again.

This was a great hotel. Really good service and amazing views from my bedroom on floor 30. Would recommend and I’d certainly stay again. Walking distance to some of the major sights and easy metro access to and from Eurostar to/from London.
