So our airbnb' air conditioning wasn't working when we checked in on our last two nights of our Italy vacation the first week of August. Canal Grande had one room available on the very top floor and it was great. The decor was suited for the building and city. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was very clean. And most of all the air conditioning was extremely cold! The breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious. They also have a small patio just off the main hall inside and we used it both nights to have a glass of wine and watch boats go up and down the canal. I would definitely stay again in the future!

This hotel is just BEAUTIFUL and sits right on The Grand Canal. Our room was right out of a palace--just stunning. Lots of attention to detail. SO pretty! We were very impressed. The staff was delightful and just wonderful to us. The lobby also has a lovely sitting area where breakfast is served. There is a small balcony right on The Grand Canal. However, the hotel owns the courtyard beside the hotel and they have a ton of seating and umbrellas right on the waterfront. So you can easily sit out there, have a drink, and enjoy watching all of the activity. I strongly recommend this and we will definitely be back. Also, it is a 5 minute walk to the train station--if you are trying to catch a train to Milan, Roma, etc

The room is not heat properly, we call the reception and we wait for hour but nothing change. We went out for dinner, comeback and the room is still cold. Compared to another hotel that we stayed in Venice, this is nit worth the money you pay for. Great location from train station, easy to walk around.

Me and my partner stayed for 1 night (Saturday night) and were pleasantly surprised. Great location - just 5 minutes walk from transportation (bus and train). Hotel was quietly positioned right next to the Grand Canal. Arrival was easy and quick. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We stayed in ground floor of the annex - room was spacious and cool. Decor was traditional Venetian style and we had no noise issues (except from noisy floorboards above). Breakfast was extra - a little overpriced for what was being offered. Too many sweet pastries for my liking. Beautiful setting for breakfast though. Great atmosphere and lovely views of the Canal. Overall we were very happy and we'll definitely return in the future. Thanks 👍

Lovely hotel in Venice with a great location by the canal and just a short walk from the train station. We stayed in a suite with a double bed and sofa bed, and it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with thoughtful extras like slippers and bathrobes. The service was wonderful throughout our stay. The reception team were extremely helpful, and breakfast was excellent with a good choice and lovely service. We had a really enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it.
