We stayed here for one night but basically had two days there with the late check out. We were there before a work event at the JW and it was a great way to dive into Venice. With its architecture and decor it gives you the venice experience right away. They upgraded us to an amazing room with a living room and balcony. Service was amazing - especially the woman who checked us in - and the location was perfect. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful hotel and heartwarming place to stay at! We came here for our babymoon, and the hotel prepared a lovely gift for our unborn baby. We also received a beautiful rose bouquet on my birthday, with a long handwritten message. The staffs are really nice, providing top notch services and really going above and beyond to make sure we feel like home the entire stay there. The hotel has a large patio, one side as a restaurant and the other side as a bar. You can choose to have your breakfast on the patio everyday while enjoying the gorgeous view of the Grand Canal and Basilica Santa Maria della Salute. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who’s considering a once in a lifetime visit to Venice!

An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Due to a flight disruption, we were worried about missing our reservation, but the team was incredibly helpful and responsive. They kindly accommodated our delay and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally professional, attentive, and friendly. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. The setting and views were simply breathtaking, making the entire experience even more special. Thank you to the whole team for your outstanding hospitality. We had a fantastic afternoon and created wonderful memories. We would highly recommend The Gritti Terrace to anyone visiting Venice and look forward to returning in the future.

An unforgettable stay right on the Grand Canal - The Gritti Palace. This historic hotel is absolutely stunning—full of classic Venetian charm while still feeling comfortable and refined. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to Geraldine for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable, and to Gianmarco, Antonella, and Alessandro for their kindness throughout. Highlights included breakfast by the water, drinks at the bar, and simply soaking in the atmosphere of such a beautiful and iconic space. The room was elegant, the bed very comfortable, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. Even if you’re not staying overnight, it’s worth visiting for a drink. Truly a special experience—highly recommend.

Our stay at The Gritti Palace was truly unforgettable. From the start, it was incredibly easy to work with the concierge team—they seamlessly arranged a private water taxi directly to the hotel, which made our arrival feel effortless and special. The location is ideal, set closer to the opening of the canals toward the sea, which gives the hotel a more open, airy feel compared to other parts of Venice. It’s a beautiful and unique setting. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and pleasantly surprised that our room was ready early. Although we visited during the off-season and it was a bit quieter, the hotel still had a lively, inviting energy that made it feel anything but empty. The bar and dining area were perfect for easing into the evening—such a great spot to enjoy a cocktail and appetizer before heading out to explore the city. Our room was absolutely magnificent. There’s something so special about staying in a place with this much history and character—it truly feels like a one-of-a-kind experience. Every detail was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was simply stunning. This stay created such a magical and memorable experience for us in Venice. It’s the kind of place you don’t forget, and we would absolutely return.
